Collaboration with Silva Baum
Visual identity for feminist festival organised by Goethe Institute Germany Frequencies Sharing Feminism. The idea of the festival Frequencies – Sharing Feminisms was to bring together feminist perspectives from countries around the world and to show their plurality and intersectionality. Aspects like care, protest and diversity beyond the gender-binary, standing together and not staying silent were central as well. Various graphic elements with visual connotation to frequencies represent the multitude of voices, which differ but at the same time connect and intersect. To emphasise this idea further we used three different typefaces for the title typography, each with it’s own character and all designed by women* type designers: Armand Grotesk by Charlotte Rohde, Impact Nieuw by Jungmyung Lee and SuperTramp by Vivian Dehning.
